Tastes of the National Park

Date: 21. October 2017

The famous herb of Tihany Peninsula is lavender, which has become popular among many, thanks to its delightful colour, scent and beneficial physiological effects. You can experience the taste of lavender on this day by tasting a locally made jam (until the stocks last).

10 a.m. – noon: Making lavender jelly in the garden of the Lavender House Visitor Centre

Tasting other lavender food and drink products is possible with a tasting ticket to be purchased in the visitor centre (1.000 HUF/person).

The Workshop Room of the visitor centre awaits children and adults to participate in a handcrafts workshop.

If you bring your own mug, we invite you for a cup of tea!

Those who pay the entrance fee for the exhibition of the Lavender House Visitor Centre can participate in the workshop and are invited for a cup of tea for free.

A small glass of lavender jelly will be our gift for you.
